Episode 5: Neal Stephenson’s Zodiac, or “Poorly Foreshadowed Dorking”

Chris and Jesse sit down with Stephenson’s Boston-set “Eco-Thriller,” Zodiac, and try to figure out where this book sits in the upper-middlebrow spectrum. Dukes wishes he could have commuted around Chicago a la Sangamon Taylor, Stephenson’s protagonist, and we discuss whether the dorking is premature or not.

PROMOTION: If you have a bookstore, writing workshop center (or fully fledged MFA program), a lit zine, or something similar, share Upper Middlebrow with your audience, and we’ll bake in an on-air promo spot for your thing.
